The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. When you support WWP, hundreds of thousands of warriors, their family members, and caregivers receive access to programs and services that meet their unique mental, physical, and economic needs, free of charge, for life. For more information, please visit woundedwarriorproject.com.

Sal Gonzalez joined the United States Marine Corps on October 21, 2003. When serving in Ramadi, Iraq, Sal was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) and had his left leg amputated as a result. Today, Sal is involved in the Wounded Warrior Project as a spokesperson and continues his focus on music. His talent has garnered him an appearance on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and the TV show “Nashville” and has recently performed with country music start Keith Urban.
